“It is true that animals are usually not able to participate in their liberation, but they behave differently when they are liberated and have better living conditions.”

Katarzyna Krakowiak is a Polish artist who creates sculptures, performances, objects, compositions and sound installations. In her works, she investigates languages used to describe architecture. Her goal is to generate acoustic environments that allow viewers and listeners to become part of the artwork and encounter architecture through sound. Recently, she has also become interested in the acoustics of architecture where it intersects with living organisms such as insects and birds.

For the exhibition, she is developing a new series of black-and-white scores representing the movement of insects towards different sources of light.
